The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed in regards to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The support point established for intervention encounters a high inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to empower the servicing of all consumers and status sassa increase entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
